Enrique was born in Murcia (Spain) in 1994. He obtained his BSc in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Valencia and University of Leeds (UK) and a MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Granada. At present, he is conducting PhD studies at the University of Murcia under supervision of Prof. José Ruiz, focused on the development of novel photoactive metallodrugs with anticancer activity, and is currently joining the Gasser Group at Chimie ParisTech to complete his thesis work.
Outside of the lab, Enrique enjoys trekking, sports, martial arts and music festivals.
