Stefan was born in Belgrade (Serbia) in 1989. During the elementary school, he started to develop great interest in chemistry. After completion of the high school in 2008, he started his chemical education at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Belgrade. He finished his Bachelor and Master studies in the Department of Organic Synthesis in 2013. In the same year, he started his PhD thesis in Sanja Grgurić-Šipka’s Group at the Department of Inorganic and Bioinorganic Chemistry. He arrived to the Gasser Group as a part of COST Action 1105 for a Short Term Scientific Mission. He is working on half-sandwich ruthenium complexes with chloroquine derivatives as ligands.
Stefan likes sport, especially swimming, going to the gym and martial arts. He also likes socializing with friends, watching movies, cooking and drawing comic books.
