Dario was born in Venice, Italy. He graduated at Nautical Technical Institute S. Venier in 2009. After serving as a sailor on a muscle breading ship for almost three years, he decided to turn back to study chemistry, one of its passions as a child. He graduated both in bachelor and master degree at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in “Chemistry and Sustainable Technologies”. After the degree, he joined the PhD program at the University of Udine in “Food and Human Health” studying new organometallic complexes for chemotherapy application. He is currently enrolled in Gilles Gasser Group as visiting PhD student for carrying out his period abroad deepening his knowledge of ruthenium-based complexes for medical application. His favorite hobby is riding his motorbike across northern Italy.
