Elena was born in Albacete on December 1 of 1997. She studied Pharmacy and graduated in July of 2020. She started her PhD on October of the same year in the inorganic chemistry department. Elena works on the development of new ruthenium metallodrugs for their use in breast cancer. She is also working on the encapsulation of these new ruthenium compounds in liposomes and polymeric nanoparticles.

Elena is going to do a stay in Paris for 3 months and she is going to synthesized nanoparticles of ruthenium compounds bound directly to the polymer.

Elena likes to read, watch series, go to the cinema and go out with friends. She also likes to travel a lot and discover the world.
