Huaiyi Huang was born in 1988, Meizhou, China. He majored in chemistry at Sun Yat-Sen University (Guangzhou, China) in 2007. He obtained his BS in Sun Yat-Sen University in 2008. He is a PhD student in Prof. Hui Chao’s research group in Sun Yat-Sen University (2011-2016). He is working on his PhD thesis of ruthenium(II) polypyridyl complexes as anticancer agents.
Huaiyi Huang will be an exchange PhD student (2015. 08 – 2016. 08) supported by China Scholarship Council (CSC) in Prof. Gasser’s group in UZH. He will focus the thesis of ruthenium(II) polypyridyl complexes as photosensitizers in photodynamic therapy.
In his leisure time, Huaiyi likes photographing and travels around.
