Pierre was born in the eastern suburb of Paris, he studied agronomy in Paris, in Rennes, a semester in Valencia (Spain) and a year in Melbourne (Australia). He did is PhD and a post doc in biology in Paris and Villejuif.

He is a CNRS Project Engineer in the group of Prof. Gilles Gasser at the Institute of Chemistry for Life and Health Sciences since February 2023.

He is a climber but surfing, kayaking and biking are also part of his weekends and holidays. He likes to enjoy Parisian cultural life such as museum, theater and opera as well as good meals and wines.
