Philipp’s invited article on the potential of PNAs in bio-nanotechnology has been just accepted in Chimia. This short review presents the recent advances on the use of PNAs in this field of research. Congratulations!
Gilles joins the editorial board of the journal Photodiagnosis and Photodynamic Therapy from the publisher Elsevier. This journal is specialised on reporting recent advances (fundamental research and clinical outcomes) in the field of PDT.
Congratulations to Tanmaya and Vanessa for their new paper, which has been just accepted in ChemMedChem. This article reports on an extensive structure-activity relationship on inert Ru(II) complexes.
Our collaboration with Teresa Gianferrara, Enzo Alessio (both at the University of Trieste, Italy) and with Roger Alberto (University of Zurich) led to a new publication in ChemMedChem. Thanks to everyone involved in this project related to bioimaging and PDT.
Congratulations to Tanmaya, Vanessa, Cristina and Lea for their paper which has been just accepted in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. This communication demonstrates the first photo-release of a cytotoxic inert metal complex in living cells. Good work!
Congratulations to Angelo who has just passed his Master exam! Thanks once again for all your hard work and good luck for your PhD thesis!
Our paper reporting on the cytotoxic activity of a Re(I) organometallic complex has been just accepted in Chem. Eur. J. This work is the result of a great collaboration involving universities in Heidelberg, Wurzburg, Bochum and Zurich! Thanks to everyone
Gilles was elected to the Council of the European Platform for Photodynamic Medicine last Friday in Ustron (Poland).
Thanks to our cooperation with the group of Prof. Jennifer Keiser from the Swiss Tropical Institute in Basel, the in vivo behaviour of our organometallic derivatives of the drug Praziquantel is published in J. Med. Chem. Importantly, the in vitro
