On the 19th of April 2010, the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, together with Rubitec Ltd has announced the results of the competition to elect the best patent application submitted in 2009 at the Ruhr-University Bochum. The patent application of Gilles and his colleagues Malay Patra and Prof. Metzler-Nolte “Metal-containing Platensimycin Analogues” has been selected to receive the prize. Gilles & his colleagues will officially receive their award on the 2nd of July 2010, in Bochum.
