Congratulations to Anna, Tanmaya, David, Angelo, Johanna, Sandro and Malay for their paper which has been just accepted in Organometallics. It is nice to mention that David, Angelo, Johanna and Sandro were undergraduate students at the time of this work has been submitted.
In this work, we present, to the best of our knowledge, the most efficient synthesis of aminoferrocene ever reported. Furthermore, we have extended the scope of this discovery to another small organometallic synthon, namely aminoruthenocene. This work led to a patent application (EP13157319.8).
