Excellent news for the group with the award of an European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant (2’000’000 €) for Gilles! This will allow our group to work for 5 years on the use of Ru(II) polypyridine complexes in medicine. A nice picture of the celebrations of the grant can be seen here when former and current group members of the Gasser group came to Zurich to go ice skating and have then Glühwein (mulled wine).
