We are very happy to welcome three new members this week! Diana Melis comes from South Africa where she studied with Prof. Greg Smith at the University of Cape Town. She will undertake a PhD thesis in our group as part of the SCK-CEN PhD programm. This project is a collaboration with Dr. Andrew Burgoyne and Dr. Ooms Maarten. Siqi Zhang is coming from the group of Prof. Prof. Kezhi Wang at Beijing Normal University and will stay for one year in our group as a joint PhD student sponsored by the CSC. Dr. Harley Betts just finished his PhD thesis with Prof. Hugh Harris at the University of Adelaide (Australia). Harley will stay in our group thanks to a grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
